Since graduating Rhode Island School of Photography in 1989, owner
and photographer Tod Margolis has operated Margolis Photography Studio,
specializing in portrait and wedding photography.
In addition to his formal training, Tod apprenticed with master
photographers in the U.S. and Canada.
He continues to keep current with his craft by attending national
and regional seminars, including the annual spring school of the New
England Institute of Professional Photographers.
Prior to opening Margolis
Photography Studio, Tod provided freelance and volunteer services to The
Newport Daily News as well as the Newport Police and Fire Departments.
His
photography has been honored by the Rhode Island Chapter of the
Professional Photographers Association.
Tod serves as President of the Professional
Photographers Association. The
studio is a member of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce.
